AudioControl announced on Thursday that it has appointed two well-known and respected manufacturer sales representative firms to represent the line in two upper Midwest regions. AudioControl, like many manufacturers, has long relied on manufacturer sales reps to offer superlative sales and support functions to its dealers on a local level.
See who AudioControl has selected to represent it in the Midwest
The Midwest can be a tricky territory for salespeople to cover. It is a surprisingly large geography that requires an awful amount of driving between calls. Believe me, I know…I grew up in the Midwest in Michigan. It takes a really determined team to be successful there, and AudioControl says they’ve found the right groups for the job.
The new AudioControl reps are Sales and Marketing Inc. for the state of Michigan and AWA Reps, Inc. for Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, and North & South Dakota.
Hit the road guys!
Sales and Marketing, Inc. (SAMI)
Based in Kalamazoo, MI (that’s “kazoo” to Michiganders), which is also home to the cereal industry, Sales and Marketing, Inc. is a highly regarded sales rep firm with many years of experience. SAMI was founded in 20141 by principal Sami Al Saadi. The firm has curated an incredible assortment of top brands that are in strong demand by integrators – a powerful line-up that now includes AudioControl.
Our team is passionate about helping our manufacturer partners and our customers find success through focused sales and education programs here in Michigan. I am excited to offer AudioControl’s outstanding multi-zone amplifiers and home cinema products to our network of A/V specialists throughout the territory.

AWA Reps
Based in Elmhurst, IL, AWA Reps, also boasts a long decade-and-a-half record of success in an incredibly large territory. How do they do it? Well, for one, no fewer than nine AWA territory managers and account managers are located throughout the Midwest states that they cover, staying close to their dealers in their local markets.
The company has built a solid line list consisting of both products and services in demand by custom integrators and A/V dealers alike throughout their region. The company has targeted three main lines of business: security, audio/video, and contract hardware (access control solutions).
Services offered by AWA include extensive product training (sales, installation, end user), site surveys, complete system design, and more.
Our company stands for outstanding customer service and follow through, with exceptional products and support services that help us stand out—especially to our customers across the Midwest. We are excited to add the award-winning distributed audio and home theater products from AudioControl to our best-in-class mix of A/V products from AVPro Edge as the ultimate complete solution for our dealers.
