AudioControl announced this week that it has released certified drivers for Crestron Home for its line of specialty electronics. This news means that the company’s products, already popular in home automation systems, will now integrate into the rapidly expanding Crestron Home ecosystem.

Integrators will really appreciate that specialty electronics supplier AudioControl has new certified drivers that fully integrate their products into the popular and rapidly expanding Crestron Home community. The company says that the new drivers offer full control of their Director D Series and M Series amplifiers within the Crestron Home solution. Also, the company’s Concert and Maestro Series home theater AVRs and preamplifier/processors work with the new driver as well.
It’s really a win-win not just for Crestron integrators, but AudioControl dealers as well. Now they will be able to fully integrate their favorite specialty electronics brand’s audio products into their favorite home automation control solution.
The company says that with this driver, clients will have full and seamless control of their entertainment gear within their Crestron Home control solution. Popular features such as Global On/Off, Volume Up/Down, Tone controls, Matrix switching features, Zone On/Off (Director amplifiers), and more are now at Crestron Home users fingertips.
In addition to this new driver, AudioControl offers drivers supporting all of the popular home automation systems, including Control4, Elan, Josh, and Savant.
The new drivers for AudioControl Director, Concert and Maestro is now published to the Crestron drivers portal at http://drivers.crestron.io and available within the Crestron Home OS.
