AVAD, LLC, the custom integration-centric distribution division of Ingram Micro, announced today that it is launching its 2015 Vendopalooza program, the seventh year it has offered the traveling mini-trade show for dealers. And first up in the event schedule is on January 22nd at AVAD’s Irvine, California branch location.

AVAD’s popular Vendopalooza is a one-day show and training event held at various company warehouse/showrooms around the country. At these events the company introduces new products from their participating vendors, as well as displays and demonstrates them. Participating product experts also offer training on select products for the dealers.
At these events dealers can see a wide assortment of the latest gear from AVAD vendors – this year the company says more than 40 are participating – as well as meet with company representatives in an opportunity to get all their questions answered. But in addition to the show and training, Vendopaloozas also offer special product promotions and discounts…as well as a prize giveaways of valuable items at each local event.
“AVAD Vendopalooza has become its own phenomenon. Distributor shows were somewhat common when we got started, but being the first one to take it on the road has been a huge success,” said Lei Lei Trock, Senior Marketing Manager of AVAD in a prepared statement. “We have held 96 events in the last six years, which has enabled us to shake hands with over 10,000 dealers over that time period as they were introduced to the value of Vendopalooza. It’s not just about aggregating the products, it’s also about aggregating training and information.”
AVAD plans a total of twelve Vendopaloozas this year. After the kick-off event in Irvine, the tour will travel to San Jose, CA; Houston, TX; New York; Boston, MA; Toronto, CAN; Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; Charlotte, NC; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Scottsdale, AZ; and Los Angeles, CA. The company will release specifics on the dates and times as these events get closer.
In their official launch announcement, AVAD honored ten brands who have participated in every Vendopalooza the company has offered. These brands are Boston Acoustics, Denon, Gefen, JVC, Marantz, Niles, Peerless, Polk, Samsung and Sharp.
This year, the company says, Vendopalooza will be even bigger and better than before.
