Draper@Home residential shading line

Draper, Inc. (Draper), a leading manufacturer of window shades, projection screens, AV mounts, and architectural gym equipment, announced this week that it is further expanding its residential sales team, adding another member covering the southeastern U.S. This makes the team targeted to offering sales and support of the custom integration channel now five dedicated folks strong.

Newly joining Draper’s residential sales team is Annie Acuña. The company says that Acuña will be responsible for the southeastern United States, a large geographic area that includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North & South Carolina, and Tennessee.

According to Draper, Acuña has over 13 years of experience in the residential shading market, most recently as a Regional Sales Manager for Current Luxury out of Miami, FL. Prior to that, Acuña worked in the field with Legrand for nearly 6 years.

I am truly excited about the opportunity to work for this great company with such a great reputation in the industry. As a Residential Regional Sales Manager for the southeastern U.S., I am eager to begin my journey with Draper and share my experiences, relationships, and excitement with the team.

In December, I told you about the team Draper was assembling to drive their growth and support for the residential custom integration channel. This residential sales team that Acuña is joining includes Tom Brochard (Northeast), Jesse Denhart (Midwest), Tabitha Quick (South Central), and Tyler Reece (Southwest).

This highly experienced team of sales professionals will represent the Draper line with residential integrators, exterior shade dealers, retail shade dealers, and manufacturer representatives. The goal is to expand the company’s share of the residential shade market, as well as to also drive the growth of the overall residential shading market.

Annie is an important part of our plan to establish a strong sales team in the residential market. Her experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm are a perfect fit as we work to grow not just our own presence, but the size of the overall residential shade market.

I recently visited Draper for a complete factory tour and was surprised by what I found. Check out the story of that visit here…
