Draper is one of the industry’s largest manufacturers of a wide variety of items important for the residential and commercial custom integration industry, such as motorized shades, projection screens, AV mounting solutions, projector lifts, and more. I have recently reported on the company’s growing ambitions to increase its share of the residential segment specifically – first, with the appointment of Clint Childress as Director of Residential Markets; and second, with the promotion from within of a Director of Sales for the Eastern and Western regions.
This week, the company continued to allocate more human resources to its growing residential business, announcing a whole new sales force created specifically for the residential channel. See below to learn more about this new resi-focused sales team – all promoted from within the company.
Draper’s New Residential Sales Team
Tom Brochard – Tom has been appointed the new Residential Regional Sales Manager for the Northeastern United States. The company says that Brochard has more than 22 years of experience in consumer electronics and has previously worked with well-known custom integration brands like SnapAV (now Snap One) and Control4. Prior to assuming the Resi RSM Northeast role, Brochard had served as Draper’s northeast AV RSM since 2020.
Jesse Denhart – Jesse has been appointed the new Residential Regional Sales Manager for the Midwestern United States. The company says Denhart joined Draper in 2015 with extensive experience at all levels of window shade manufacturing. Prior to assuming this new Resi RSM role, she was the company’s field representative to Budget Blinds franchises throughout the United States.
Tabitha Quick – Tabitha has been appointed the new Residential Regional Sales Manager for the South Central United States. Prior to assuming the Resi RSM role, Quick had been Draper’s AV Regional Sales Manager in the south-central region since 2020. Prior to joining Draper, Quick had 12-years of experience in projection screen and audiovisual product sales.
Tyler Reece – Tyler has been appointed the new Residential Regional Sales Manager for the Southwest United States. Reece has been with Draper since 2019 and has more than 12 years of manufacturing sales experience. Prior to assuming this new Resi RSM role, Reece was a Key Accounts Manager.
This new sales team is tasked with working with residential integrators, exterior shade dealers, retail shade dealers, and manufacturer representatives to grow the Draper brand in the residential channel.
These new appointments underscore the importance of the residential market to Draper. In addition to the Regional Sales Managers we have created a dedicated inside sales and support team to give the residential side the attention it deserves.
