We told you last week that the ALERT was being discontinued – and it has. This morning, we distributed the first version of our new Strata-gee SYNCH newsletter. You were emailed a copy. Did you receive it?
As we mentioned in our post last week, the Strata-gee SYNCH is coming from a new email address:
info@strata-gee.com
If you did not receive your Strata-gee SYNCH today, the first place to check is your junk mail folder. Your system may not have recognized the new email address and assumed this was junk mail from an unapproved sender.
See more on how to ensure the reliable receipt of the next Strata-gee SYNCH…
You can see an image of the Strata-gee SYNCH newsletter here on the left that was mailed to you this morning. If you didn’t receive it, then it most likely got filtered out by your Junk Mail filter which didn’t recognize the changed email address.
As most of you are probably using Microsoft Outlook, the best way to ensure reliable delivery of the Strata-gee SYNCH is to add it to your Contacts in Outlook. Just title it Strata-gee SYNCH and copy the email address – info@strata-gee.com – into the proper line in the contact.
You can also add this address to the Safe Senders List. How to do that depends on the version of Outlook you are using. In the case of Outlook 2007 (the version I use), you can find the Safe Senders List by following the menu options here: Tools – Options – Preferences – Junk Email… – Safe Senders.
When you get to the Safe Senders list, you click the “Add” button and type in the address that you know to be safe: info@strata-gee.com. By the way, while you’re there, make sure to check the “Also trust email from my Contacts” check-box.
The process is different depending on what email client you’re using but its well worth a couple of minutes searching your Help files to ensure you are getting the mail you want to get.
Don’t hesitate to contact us at
info@strata-gee.com if you still are not receiving your new Strata-gee SYNCH newsletter.
THANKS!!
