Based in Stanstead, Essex in England, Pulse Cinemas was launched in 2003. The company has grown to offer a wide selection of brands, including several high-end, high-performance lines like Christie, Crestron, Digital Projection, Lutron and more.

Pulse offers extensive dealer support, including some options both unique…and uniquely useful. For example, the company offers a consumer-facing website with a gallery of theater images that their dealers can use to show prospective clients the kinds of system options that are possible. In addition to that, Pulse also offers support in other media, like the print and digital versions of its “Essential Guide to Pulse Cinema” with informative articles and photos of installations.

“We are excited to work with Mike [Beatty, Managing Director of Pulse Cinemas] and the experienced team at Pulse Cinemas in the U.K. and Ireland,” said James Loudspeaker CEO Mark Schafle in a prepared statement. “We anticipate that Pulse will increase brand visibility for James Loudspeaker in the U.K. and we look forward to establishing new relationships with top dealers and integrators through this critical region.”

According to James Loudspeaker, Pulse is known for their service, education and support services which is delivered via phone or email – and even on the job site if needed. The distributor is also known for their product training events “to ensure that integrators have the tools they need to correctly configure each system.”

“Representing James here in the U.K. is a real honor for myself and the entire Pulse team,” said Pulse Cinemas Managing Director Mike Beatty in the same prepared statement. “After visiting the company’s headquarters in Napa, California, we were able to get a firsthand look at James’ astonishing capacity to engineer and manufacture custom speaker solutions for integrators.”
