This appointment really throws a spotlight on the growing intersection between the electrical and the custom integration industries. In his new role on the Board, Larkin will contribute to the Board’s efforts in upholding safety and regulatory standards for the electrical industry.
I’m honored by the appointment to the Board and looking forward to supporting the oversight of electrical industry standards in Colorado.

This is a rare direct connection between the technology integration community and a government regulatory body. Certainly, CEDIA has resources and lobbys various state government agencies around the country. But in this case, we have an integrator directly involved in setting Colorado’s electrical regulations.
Larkin is a licensed Master Electrician, as well as a CEDIA and AVIXA industry professional. He will work with fellow board members to ensure compliance with state electrical statutes and support licensing and regulatory efforts.
