Nortek, Inc. announced today that it has appointed Kris Holla Chief Sales Officer of Data Center Products. This position, newly created by the company, involves leading the charge in increasing Nortek’s market share in “mission critical data center and server markets.”

Holla was most recently Chief Sales Oficer for a major supplier of valve technology and fittings – TALIS Group. Prior to that position, he was President and CEO of NxGen Modular, a manufacturer of modular mission critical buildings and assemblies.
Nortek also noted that Holla spent ten years with Emerson Electric as their Executive Vice President and CSO of their Network Power business.
“A crucial aspect of our business strategy is growing Nortek in new markets that complement our existing product lines,” Michael J. Clarke, Nortek’s Chief Executive Officer said in a prepared statement. “The addition of Kris Holla to our senior leadership team demonstrates our commitment to achieving this goal. Kris brings to Nortek an extensive record of sales and marketing leadership in the rapidly expanding data center market, which we believe offers significant growth potential for our business.”
Holla’s credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Engineering, India. Holla also holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Oregon State University.
