ProSource, a retail buying group that describes themselves as the biggest integration, audio, and video buying group in the country, said this week that it has added Origin Acoustics – an all-new company – to its product line-up. According to ProSource, Origin has chosen them as its “exclusive buying group.”

ProSource is a group that was created out of the conjunction of two other retail buying groups – Home Entertainment Source (HES) and the PRO Group. With more than 500 retail and custom integration members, ProSource claims to have more than $4 billion in total buying power.
Origin Acoustics, a new company founded by Jeremy Burkhardt and several partners, is still early in their product line ramp-up. The company has announced a broad line-up of in-wall/in-ceiling speakers, subwoofers, electronics, accessories, outdoor speakers, and more.
“We have had a great relationship with Jeremy in the past, and look forward to welcoming him back to the industry and to the ProSource group. We share the same passion for the integration channel and I look forward to working with him and his team to bring Origin’s innovative products to market,” Jim Ristow, co-president of ProSource said in a prepared statement.
ProSource will also host webinars for members on December 10th and December 17th to introduce their members to the brand. Email invitations to members will precede the events.
