The company says that as its CRO Judd will be responsible for installed systems sales strategy, operations, processes, pipeline, and results. He also will be involved in customer service matters.
Since the CRO is a senior level executive position, the company says that Judd will “be part of the team that ensures the company continues to launch groundbreaking solutions and partnerships that are revolutionizing the smart home.”
Decades of Experience
Bryce brings decades of valuable sales experience to our company, and I look forward to the insights and guidance he will bring to our teams. His expertise in CEDIA, solar, and technology will help us successfully scale the business and elevate our efforts to provide a premium level of service to our integrators, distributors, installers, and end users.
Bob Madonna, Savant CEO
The company notes that Judd has almost 30 years of experience in driving growth on a global scale. His varied experience includes working with partners, consumer services, and has largely been centered in the technology space.
Background Includes Private Equity, Home Automation, Solar and More
Just prior to joining Savant, Judd was Operating Partner, President, and COO of Ascent Ventures which appears to be a small private equity operation based in Utah. The company says that Judd “directed strategic oversight of a dynamic portfolio of SaaS, solar, sales enablement, fintech, consumer and multi-site services, and construction companies.
Prior to Ascent Ventures, as I mentioned above, Judd was Chief Sales Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Control4. He left Control4 shortly after its acquisition by Snap One.
Experienced at Telecom and Networking
Before he got involved in the custom integration business, Judd spent several years in telecommunications, including 9 years at Nokia and 5 years with Sprint. Prior to these roles, he worked at a San Franciso-based construction company.
Savant notes that during Judd’s time at Ascent, he served in the role of CEO for a residential solar company, from 2021-2022. It is the wide breadth of positions he’s held in a diverse range of industries including home automation, networking, mobile, IoT and power that uniquely qualifies him for this new role at Savant.
