Sonance announced this week that it has appointed well-known manufacturer sales representative firm Strateres as its representative for the New England region. This agreement includes the representation of all of the company’s brands, including Sonance, James Loudspeaker, and IPORT.

San Clemente, CA-based Sonance is a leading industry supplier of a wide range of products designed for the custom integration channel. Strateres is a Norwood, MA-based manufacturer sales representative firm that specializes in products and services for the custom integration channel as well.
Sonance announced this week that it has “launched a new partnership” or, in other words, appointed Strateres as its representative for New England. This agreement between the parties was effective on February 1st, so the relationship is up and running.
A Long History of Experience and Expertise
Strateres was founded by well-known industry veteran Peter Dyroff, who has run both a sales rep firm and a specialty distribution company in New England for many years. According to Sonance’s announcement, Strateres features a team “with over 100 years of combined industry experience and expertise.”
The announcement adds the fact that Strateres has a focus “on partnership and strategies that appeal to the design professional and architect communities [that] precisely aligns with the Sonance approach, making the new pairing a perfect fit.”

Apparently, there is lots of excitement to go around, as Sonance’s Regional Sales Director Chet Flynn seems equally thrilled.

Previously, Sonance was represented in New England by the rather generically named Northeast Rep Agency. Part of that team included Sandy Duffy, another well-known veteran in the region. As part of this announcement, the company says that Sandy Duffy is joining Strateres as a Product and Support Specialist, so he continues in his support of the brand.
