(Autonomic) announced Wednesday the launch of the all-new Mirage OS 7.0 operating system and the Advanced Music Bridge (AMB), both of which add exciting new features and capabilities to the company’s existing installed base of eSeries Mirage Media Streamers. The company touts the AMB as a clever way to add value to their products already in the field by providing new features now, rather than forcing users to wait for future, more extensive hardware launches.
SnapAV announced Wednesday that it has acquired Autonomic, a leading music server solutions provider. This is SnapAV’s latest in a string of acquisitions, as the company continues to seek solutions that will fulfill the needs of their extensive national network of custom integrators.

Autonomic, a leading brand of digital multi-room music systems, announced at the 2015 CEDIA Expo that it has partnered with Lutron to deliver a seamless user experience via its HomeWorks QS total home automation solution. With the push of a button, integrators’ clients can simply include their favorite music as part of a pre-programmed HomeWorks QS “scene.”
Autonomic Controls, Inc. announced today that it has launched a driver that integrates its popular MMS-2A and MMS-5A Mirage Music Players with the URC Total Control system. Combining one of the most popular high-resolution music player & lossless streaming systems with one of the most popular control systems is bound to be a hit with integrators, AND make their lives much easier.
In an announcement that is a bit unusual for a manufacturer, Autonomic announced on Tuesday that it is reducing the MSRP on its popular Mirage Audio System (MAS). Not only that, but the company says it will actually increase the dealer margin at the same time. Normally, a price reduction is a sign of a slow selling product – but Autonomic says that is not the case here.
