Thiel Audio Names New Independent Reps in California

March 1, 2012 by Ben Leave a Comment

<February 29, 2012> Thiel Audio Products Company announced this past Monday that itTHIEL Logo has appointed two new independent sales representative firms in the state of California – one for Northern California and another for Southern California. Both are well known with strong credentials for servicing the specialty and custom integration channels.

In Southern California, Thiel has selected Clarity Business Group. Thiel will be joining Clarity’s stable of mid- to high-end specialty brands such as Arcam, Prima Luna, Autonomic, Salamander and more.

Clarity has more than 30 years of successful selling to the custom audio/video, control, and home/pro markets. Partner Mark Cichowski is enthusiastic about this new appointment.

“Thiel brings a tremendous heritage and quality to traditional audio products as well as compelling solutions for the custom channel,” Cichowski said. “Thiel is such a positive company and a feel-good brand – I anticipate a mutually successful long term relationship.”

In Northern California, Thiel has named Rich Jackson. While Jackson’s company is relatively new – founded in January 2010 – Jackson has been representing high-quality brands in the Northern California market with a variety of representative companies for many years and is well known to dealers in the market.

In addition to Northern California, Jackson will also cover Northern Nevada and Hawaii. Other than Thiel, Jackson’s firm also represents Bryston, Autonomic, James Loudspeakers, Prima Luna and PS Audio.

“My business model has always been to put my customers first, providing premium, profitable solutions to dealers in my region,” Jackson said in a prepared statement. “High performance audio has always been my passion, and the Thiel lineup allows me to bring top level products to a vast array of retailers and integrators in my territory.”

Jackson’s new company is off to a good start. Three vendors named Jackson Rep of the Year in 2011- their first year of existence.

“We anticipate a great deal of success aligning the Thiel brand with both Rich Jackson and The Clarity Group in their respective territories,” said Thiel’s National Sales Manager, Brad Paulsen. “These are highly skilled organizations with critical relationships in the marketplace who will present the Thiel brand to the finest retailers and integrators in each region.
