Tributaries Appoints Three New Rep Firms

May 2, 2013 by Ted Leave a Comment

Tributaries logoGordon J. Gow Technologies, parent company to Tributaries Cable and a high-end line called Clarus, announced this week that it has appointed three new rep firms for both product lines. These new appointments became effective May 1, 2013 and cover the geographic areas of New England, New York, and the Southeast.

See who has joined the Tributaries team…

Tributaries is well known amongst A/V specialty retailers and offers a broad assortment of high quality cable and accessory products. In the competitive cable business, Tributaries takes a upper mid-to-high end position in the market. With this announcement, the company fills out their sales force network.

NEW ENGLAND: Joining the sales team at Tributaries for representation in New England is Cowan Associates. Doug Cowan and Cowan Associates will represent Tributaries and their high-end Clarus line in the states of: Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.

UPSTATE NEW YORK: Upstate New York will be represented by JP Sales Group, also a well-known specialty oriented manufacturers representative company. Leading the charge for JP Sales will be John Pravel and Jeff Sigmund. Territory, as designated, is all of New York State with the exception of the New York City metropolitan market.

JP Sales Group says that their mission is to provide “audio-video dealers the tools needed to grow business successfully.” These tools include conducting regular sales training sessions and consulting on application and installation issues. The company also offers a world-class assortment of specialty lines including: Denon, Marantz, KEF, Mark Levinson, Revel, Stewart, Triad and more. For more information, see: jpsgroup.net or call 518.326.3730.

SOUTHEAST: Representing Tributaries in the Southeast is MarketMakers, the product of two recently merged representative companies Elrep Sales and Creative Marketing Associates. Both firms…and their principals Ben and Honey Van De Kreke, and Jim and Liz Kershaw…have solid reputations in their respective market areas and a long history of supporting the A/V specialty market.

MarketMakers has two sales offices serving the territory: one in Nashville, TN and the other in Tucker, GA. Together they cover the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, and Alabama. For more information, contact Honey Van De Kreke at honeyv@elrepsales.com or Jim Kershaw at jim@creativereps.tv.
