For those of you familiar with AVNation’s AVWeek netcast or podcast, you are used to witty repartee as guests discuss various topical issues that are meaningful to the AV industry. And this week’s Episode 99 It’s a Fun LinkedIn, was no exception.
But one thing was different about this week’s issue – it featured an AVWeek newbie…Strata-gee.com’s very own Ted Green.
See more on the interesting topics they discussed where you can hear the podcast for yourself…
Ted, along with AVWeek host Tim Albright, and guests Bill Stiteler (Associate Editor at Apple Tell) and Aaron Wilson (an integration professional) discussed a wide range of topics including:
- CE Week and the CEA’s thoughts on 4K Ultra HDTV forecasts;
- Whether the ubiquity of touchscreens made them appropriate for commercial aircraft control;
- The future of hard drive technology (if there is one);
- And finally, Microsoft’s announcement that it is shutting down MSN TV, better known as Web TV.
It was the first appearance for Green on AVWeek who said he enjoyed the experience.
“Not having ever participated in a podcast before, I was a little nervous and did not know what to expect,” Green told us. “But Tim Albright does a fantastic job of actively moderating the show – delving deeper into topics where appropriate, and knowing when to move on to the next topic to keep a brisk pace. It was a lot of fun and the guest/host interactions were at times quite humorous.”
